Adani Group Unveils Integrated Health Campuses
Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, has announced the launch of Adani Health City (AHC), a series of integrated health campuses. These campuses will be implemented through the Group’s not-for-profit healthcare arm.
Commitment to Affordable, World-Class Healthcare
Aligning with his social philosophy, “Service is meditation, service is prayer, and service is God,” Gautam Adani and his family will fully fund these projects to provide high-quality medical care and education to people across India.
Rs 6,000 Crore Investment in Ahmedabad and Mumbai
As reported by economictimes, the Adani family will invest over Rs 6,000 crore to build the first two health campuses in Ahmedabad and Mumbai. This initiative is part of the Rs 10,000 crore commitment the Group made for social causes during Jeet Adani’s wedding.
Expansion Plans Across India
Gautam Adani plans to establish more Adani Health Cities in various cities and towns across India, ensuring healthcare access to people from all socio-economic backgrounds.
Comprehensive Healthcare Ecosystem
Each Adani Health City campus will feature:
- A 1,000-bed multi-super-specialty hospital
- A medical college with an annual intake of 150 undergraduates, over 80 residents, and more than 40 fellows
- Step-down and transitional care facilities
- Cutting-edge research facilities focusing on clinical research, artificial intelligence, and biomedical informatics
Collaboration with Mayo Clinic for Global Standards
The Adani Group has partnered with Mayo Clinic Global Consulting to guide the organizational structure and clinical practices at these campuses. Mayo Clinic will also advise on integrating digital and information technology to enhance healthcare quality.

“Two years ago, my family committed INR 60,000 Cr towards healthcare, education, and skill development as a gift to me on my 60th birthday,” said Gautam Adani. “Adani Health City is the first of many major projects from this contribution. Our collaboration with Mayo Clinic, the world’s largest integrated not-for-profit medical group practice, will raise healthcare standards in India, particularly in complex disease care and medical innovation.”
