Apollo Hospitals Launches Mobile Health Check Service to Combat Non-Communicable Diseases

Apollo Hospitals has introduced Apollo Health Check on Wheels, a mobile healthcare platform designed to provide comprehensive health screenings directly at workplaces, gated communities, and associations. At the launch event, Dinesh Gundu Rao, Karnataka’s State Minister for Health and Family Welfare, lauded the initiative, calling it a transformative step in bringing preventive healthcare to the citizens’ doorsteps.

Dr. Manish Mattoo, CEO of Apollo Hospitals, Karnataka and Central Region, emphasized that Apollo Health Check on Wheels aims to prioritize health and wellness without disrupting daily routines. The service brings top-notch medical care directly to patients’ doorsteps, ensuring that healthcare is accessible and convenient.

The mobile health unit is equipped with advanced technology and staffed by healthcare professionals to conduct a variety of health tests, including blood and urine tests, mammograms, ECG, echo, cardiac stress testing, X-rays, ultrasounds, colposcopy, eye and ear exams, and physician consultations. Services offered include comprehensive health checks, health screenings, and preventive healthcare services.
