Aster DM Healthcare to Launch 430-Bed Multispecialty Hospital in Sarjapur, Bengaluru

Aster DM Healthcare, one of India’s largest integrated healthcare providers, has signed a lease agreement to establish its fourth multispecialty hospital in Bengaluru. The upcoming 430-bed state-of-the-art facility in Sarjapur marks a significant milestone in Aster’s expansion journey and reaffirms its commitment to delivering quality, patient-centric care.

Major Investment in Bengaluru’s Healthcare Landscape

With a planned investment of approximately INR 480 crores, Aster will develop the new hospital across 4 lakh square feet. The project will unfold in two phases: the first phase with 300 beds will be operational by the second half of FY27, and the remaining 130 beds will be added by FY29.

This addition will give Aster a city-wide presence in Bengaluru, covering all major zones and positioning it among the top three hospital chains in the city.

Sarjapur: Bengaluru’s Emerging Healthcare and IT Hub

Located in the rapidly developing Sarjapur Road corridor, the new hospital aligns with the region’s transformation into a major IT and residential hub. The Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) has announced plans to create a 1,050-acre IT park in the area. This will attract significant infrastructure development and real estate growth. Sarjapur’s proximity to IT zones like Whitefield, ORR, and Marathahalli adds to its strategic advantage. Additionally, the proposed Phase 3 Metro line further enhances its appeal.
