Charnock Hospital in Kolkata has introduced the ‘Enhanced Patient Care Programme’. All ward beds will now feature contactless and continuous monitoring via Dozee’s state-of-the-art AI-powered remote patient monitoring (RPM) and early warning systems (EWS).
Dozee allows healthcare professionals to remotely monitor vital parameters such as heart rate, respiration rate, blood pressure, SPO2 levels, temperature, and ECG. The early warning system detects trends in these parameters, alerting healthcare providers to potential clinical deterioration, thus enabling timely medical intervention. Dozee employs AI-based Ballistocardiography (BCG) for contactless monitoring. This innovative, patented, Made-in-India technology significantly enhances patient safety, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency.
As reported by Pharmabiz, Dr. Suman Ghosh, Chief of Medical Services at Charnock Hospital, stated that patient safety and compassionate care are top priorities. He emphasized that Dozee’s advanced technology and AI-driven solutions have been crucial in achieving their mission, allowing real-time monitoring of patient vitals to swiftly detect and address clinical declines, thereby reducing code blue events.
Gaurav Parchani, CTO and Co-founder of Dozee, expressed pride in partnering with Charnock Hospital, a distinguished institution known for its ‘Patient First’ philosophy. He highlighted that the collaboration aims to significantly enhance patient safety by reducing emergencies through early detection of clinical deterioration, thus setting new standards in digital healthcare transformation.
