Green Corridor Created by Delhi Police Saves 5 Patients Lives

The family of a 59-year-old man who was declared brain dead at AIIMS trauma centre due to head injuries sustained in a road accident donated his organs, saving the lives of five patients. The liver and heart of the donor were carried to R&R Hospital and Apollo Hospital, respectively, in 8 minutes and 7.4 kilometers, respectively, according to AIIMS administration.
