India’s First ‘Make in India’ 1.5T MRI Machine, Anamaya, Launched by Ruby Medical Services

Ruby Medical Services is proud to announce the installation of Anamaya, India’s first-ever indigenous 1.5T MRI machine, at its Sangamner facility on Tajane Mala, New Nagar Road. Manufactured by 3i MedTech, a Refex Group company and a leader in advanced medical technology, this launch marks a significant milestone in India’s healthcare sector under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Produced at the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) in Visakhapatnam, Anamaya showcases Indian innovation and technological excellence. The name “Anamaya,” meaning “health,” reflects the machine’s promise of reliability and progress, with the slogan “Imaging the path to wellness.” This state-of-the-art MRI machine offers exceptional diagnostic precision with faster scan times, improved patient comfort, and cost-efficient operations, aligning with Ruby Medical Services’ goal of providing high-quality diagnostics to underserved regions.

As reported by punekarnews, the event commenced with a symbolic lamp-lighting ceremony, followed by speeches from key medical professionals and dignitaries, including Dr. Simon Grant, Physician and Trustee at Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune; Ms. Natalie Grant Nanda, GM-Strategy & Business Development at Ruby Hall Clinic; Mr. Behram Khodaiji, CEO of Ruby Hall Clinic; Dr. Pranav Mahadeokar, Consultant Radiologist & HOD at Ruby Hall Clinic; and Padma Shri Dr. Harsh Mahajan, Founder & Chairman of Mahajan Imaging and former President of IRIA. The ceremony included the unveiling of the Anamaya MRI machine and a corporate film highlighting Ruby Hall Clinic’s legacy of healthcare excellence.
