E-Sanjeevani: World’s Largest Telemedicine Network

India’s E-Sanjeevani National Telemedicine Service has emerged as the largest telemedicine platform globally in primary healthcare. The service has connected 31.19 crore patients through 1.29 lakh Ayushman Arogya Mandirs (AAMs), supported by 16,447 hubs and 676 online OPDs. This milestone demonstrates India’s leadership in digital healthcare.

U-WIN Portal Strengthens Immunization Tracking

The U-WIN portal has digitized immunization tracking, registering 1.7 crore pregnant women and 5.4 crore children while recording 26.4 crore vaccine doses in real time. This initiative ensures accurate monitoring and improved immunization coverage.

Universal Immunization Programme Reaches 93.5% Coverage

India’s Universal Immunization Programme (UIP) achieved 93.5% full immunization coverage in FY24. A child is considered fully immunized after receiving BCG, three doses of OPV, three doses of Pentavalent, and one dose of Measles Rubella (MR) vaccine by their first birthday.

Jan Aushadhi Scheme Expands Affordable Medicine Access

As reported by economictimes, the Jan Aushadhi Scheme, which provides low-cost medicines, saw record-breaking sales in 2024. With over 14,000 kendras nationwide, the scheme is improving access to essential drugs, making healthcare more affordable for millions.
