The Tamil Nadu Chapter of the Association of Healthcare Providers India (AHPI) is set to organize AHPICON 2024, a conference themed ‘Growth and Sustainability in Healthcare.’ Scheduled for June 15, 2024, in Madurai, the event will feature over 50 expert talks and gather more than 500 healthcare professionals, including doctors, administrators, and consultants from 200 hospitals across the state.
AHPICON 2024 will also include an award ceremony recognizing 15 hospitals of varying sizes for their excellence in patient service. Interested participants and hospitals can register and nominate for awards by contacting 98401 99979.
The conference will commence with a keynote address by Dr. G. Bhakthavatsalam, Chairman of K.G. Hospital. Dr. Girdhar Gyani, AHPI’s Director General, will deliver the presidential address, while Dr. Alexander Thomas, Founder-President & Patron of AHPI, will serve as the Guest of Honour.
Session topics will cover financial sustainability and growth, human resource management and upskilling, disruptive technologies in healthcare, the importance of quality for sustainability, regulatory compliance challenges, and the sustainability of hospitals in tier-II and tier-III towns.
Dr. Sathish Devadoss, President of AHPI-TN and Vice Chairman of Devadoss Multispeciality Hospital, stated that rising healthcare costs and financial sustainability are crucial issues shaping the healthcare industry. He emphasized that AHPICON 2024 will explore innovative methods to expand healthcare services.
Dr. Raju Sivasamy, Organizing Chairman of AHPICON 2024 and Vice President of SIMS Hospital, remarked that the conference would unite hospitals of all sizes from Tamil Nadu, alongside leading healthcare experts nationwide, to address current challenges in hospital management. The event will also provide insights into HR, upskilling, disruptive technologies, quality, and regulatory compliance.
