MGM Medical College to launch 500-bedded hospital, Jamshedpur

MGM Medical College is all set to get a 500-bedded hospital by November 2022 at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The hospital plans to have state-of-the-art facilities for patients and enough resources to treat serious diseases, informed health department sources.

A team of engineers working on the hospital project have given this information to the members of Jharkhand Assembly’s Estimates Committee who visited the hospital to review progress of the ongoing work, sources said. The Estimates Committee includes Baharagora MLA- Sameer Mohanty, Majhgaon MLA- Niral Purty and Dhanbad MLA- Raj Sinha.

Sources mentioned that a team of specialists is expected to be set up to make sure that serious patients get proper treatment in the new hospital.

Sources said that the hospital will have facilities to treat patients suffering from heart problems, cancer, neurological disorders and various other illnesses. This would help poor patients who cannot go to other cities for better treatment.
