Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda launched a new initiative on Friday aimed at strengthening the medical device industry and giving it a significant boost.

The comprehensive scheme addresses crucial aspects of the medical device sector, including the manufacturing of key components and accessories, skill development, support for clinical studies, the development of shared infrastructure, and industry promotion.

During the launch, Nadda highlighted that the scheme would be a transformative step for the industry and a major stride toward making India self-reliant.
