Tata Steel Opens Two Hospitals in Noamundi and West Bokaro

Tata Steel has inaugurated two new Tata Main Hospitals (TMH) in Noamundi and West Bokaro, Jharkhand, significantly enhancing healthcare services in the region with an additional 200 beds. The inauguration was led by CEO and MD T. V. Narendran, along with senior executives and union members.

These advanced healthcare facilities aim to meet the rising demand for medical services, driven by an increase in non-communicable and chronic diseases. T. V. Narendran emphasized the company’s commitment to community welfare, stating that the new hospitals will provide comprehensive healthcare to employees, their families, and the broader community.

The hospitals feature specialized units, including ICUs, high-dependency units, isolation rooms, daycare beds, and general wards. They offer a broad spectrum of services such as pathology, biochemistry, microbiology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, emergency care, general surgery, ENT, CT and MRI scans, orthopaedics, paediatrics, dentistry, dermatology, ultrasound, physiotherapy, dialysis, and blood banking.

As reported in the press release, the hospitals were rapidly and sustainably constructed using Tata Steel Nest-In’s prefabricated solutions.
