The Healthy Indian Project (THIP), a distinguished health information platform in India, participated in the 11th Edition of Global Fact recently held in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Organised by the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN), it is the world’s largest gathering of fact-checkers. The conference aims to discuss strategies, share experiences, and encourage collaboration on combating misinformation. The 11th Edition brought together fact-checkers, journalists, professionals, and fact-checking organisations from 80 countries worldwide. They issued the ‘Sarajevo Statement,’ emphasising their commitment to freedom of expression and access to information. THIP is dedicated to promoting accurate health information and upholds the highest standards of fact-checking and health literacy.
