The current Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce in India (IACC) has been extended, continuing their relationship.

The range of the relationship has grown to include a number of topics, including mental health, international health security, youth gender issues, climate change, agriculture, and education. The MoU signing provided a chance to introduce a mental health initiative that would concentrate on mental health in the post-COVID age as stated by Biospectrum.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will promote better development outcomes through strengthened collaboration with the private sector in areas like child health, HIV/AIDS, global health security, water and sanitation, issues pertaining to youth, gender and women’s empowerment, climate change, air and ocean pollution, agriculture, education, primary health care, and strengthening of health systems.

By extending the MoU, the American and Indian business groups have set themselves up for another five years of productive cooperation with the goal of attaining their mutually held global development aspirations.
