Wipro GE Healthcare has introduced the Versana Premier R3, an AI-enabled ultrasound system designed to improve diagnostic accuracy, streamline workflows, and enhance clinical efficiency. This advanced system will be manufactured at Wipro GE Healthcare’s PLI factory in Bengaluru, supporting the Indian government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Addressing India’s Growing Healthcare Needs

India’s increasing population and rising burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) call for cutting-edge diagnostic technologies. The Versana Premier R3 integrates artificial intelligence with automation, offering AI-enabled productivity tools that assist clinicians in dynamic tissue imaging, volume calculations, and workflow optimization. Additionally, the system includes a self-learning onboarding tool to help clinicians adapt quickly to new workflows and enhance their skills.

As reported by expresshealthcare, the system’s ‘VisionBoost architecture’ and 8-million-channel digital processing provide high-resolution imaging. It also supports 23 different probes, allowing dynamic scanning of various organs.
