ManipalCigna Health Insurance has introduced the ManipalCigna ProHealth Prime plan, which offers cashless OPD coverage for doctor consultations, prescription diagnostic tests, and pharmacy charges in addition to all sorts of inpatient expenses.
“It (the insurance plan) covers “Non-medical Expenses” to ensure there are zero deductions towards non-medical items during hospitalization and many more such enticing benefits,” the company said in a statement.
This plan comes in three categories: ‘ManipalCigna ProHealth Prime Protect’ covers overall hospitalisation costs, ‘ManipalCigna ProHealth Prime Advantage’ covers cashless OPD visits in addition to hospitalisation costs, and ‘ManipalCigna ProHealth Prime Active’ covers people with pre-existing medical conditions like diabetes, obesity, asthma, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol, reported The Mint.
Zero deductions for non-medical expenditures, paid OPD, and unrestricted restoration up to 100 percent of the total sum covered are some of the plan’s advantages, which apply from the second claim onwards.
