President Murmu Urges Collective Action on World TB Day

Recognizing Efforts to Eliminate TB

On the eve of World Tuberculosis Day, observed annually on March 24, President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, praised the National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP) for its commitment to raising awareness and involving the public in the fight against tuberculosis (TB). She acknowledged the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s efforts in driving this nationwide campaign.

Theme of World TB Day 2024

President Murmu highlighted that eliminating TB remains a significant national and international health challenge.
