Star Health Expands Home Health Care Nationwide

Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Ltd has expanded its Home Health Care initiative to 100 locations across India, ensuring accessible and affordable medical care for more customers. Launched in July 2023, the program now covers 85% of Star Health Insurance’s customer base, offering cashless doorstep medical services.

Enhancing Healthcare Accessibility

“At Star Health, we believe health insurance should do more than provide financial coverage. It should serve as a bridge to accessible and affordable healthcare for everyone,” said MD and CEO Anand Roy. “By reducing barriers like high hospitalization costs, logistical challenges, and the stress of seeking medical care, we aim to bring healthcare closer to our customers, ensuring their comfort and peace of mind.”

Strong Adoption in Key Cities

Cities such as Mumbai, Delhi, and Pune have actively embraced the initiative, primarily using it for treating conditions like viral fever and dengue. More than 15,000 patients have already benefitted from the Home Health Care program.
