In a groundbreaking collaboration set to position India as a global leader in digital health innovation, Agilisium, a leading autonomous Agentic AI partner in life sciences, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER). Together, they will establish India’s first Agentic AI-Powered Digital Health & Research Centre—a national hub for cutting-edge scientific research, healthcare innovation, and academic excellence.
Driving Innovation in Precision Medicine and Diagnostics
As per the Agilisium press release, the Centre will bring together Agilisium’s deep capabilities in AI, GenAI, advanced analytics, and autonomous Agentic AI with SRIHER’s clinical and academic leadership. This partnership aims to co-develop intelligent diagnostic tools, decision-support systems, and interoperable health data frameworks to accelerate breakthroughs in precision medicine, digital diagnostics, and data-driven clinical research.
Uniting Technology with Clinical Expertise
By integrating technological innovation with clinical domain expertise, the collaboration will tackle some of the most pressing healthcare challenges. While Agilisium will provide AI and data science expertise, SRIHER will contribute access to rich clinical datasets, medical infrastructure, and expertise across disciplines. A key focus will be on publishing high-impact research in AI-driven clinical trials, predictive diagnostics, and personalized treatments.
AI-Powered Solutions for Smarter Healthcare
This partnership will incubate next-gen digital health solutions, such as intelligent clinical decision tools, digital twins for personalized treatment simulations, and AI-enabled hospital infrastructure. Moreover, the Centre will explore predictive analytics for disease surveillance and early intervention, enabling proactive public health responses.
Launching the Clean Health Data Initiative
In a bold step to improve healthcare data quality, Agilisium and SRIHER will jointly launch a Clean Health Data Initiative. This initiative will standardize and cleanse both structured and unstructured clinical data using AI tools, making them research-ready and compliant with global healthcare regulations. SRIHER will facilitate blinded access to real-world clinical data for piloting these tools.
Empowering Clinicians and Patients with AI Tools
The Centre will also develop and validate AI-powered chatbots and GenAI-enabled virtual assistants. These tools will support clinicians, patients, and caregivers with real-time diagnostics, clinical documentation, and remote patient monitoring. These tools will be piloted within SRIHER’s hospital setting to evaluate clinical impact and usability.
Building Future-Ready Talent in Healthcare AI
The MoU includes the launch of an industry-first academic certification program on Generative AI in Healthcare. Co-designed by Agilisium and SRIHER, the program will cover AI applications in drug discovery, diagnostics, predictive modelling, and patient care. While Agilisium will offer industry-relevant technical instruction, SRIHER will ensure the program’s clinical and academic rigor.
Collaborative Activities and CSR Initiatives
To broaden the impact, both institutions will jointly host seminars, workshops, and conferences. They will also support CSR-backed research initiatives to encourage socially relevant healthcare innovations. These engagements will foster cross-disciplinary collaboration and community impact.
Leaders Speak on the Vision Ahead
Raj Babu, CEO of Agilisium, stated, “This partnership marks a defining moment in our journey to transform life sciences and healthcare through Agentic AI. Together with SRIHER, we’re building an ecosystem that unites synthetic AI agents with AI-native talent to co-create India’s future in healthcare innovation.”
Dr. Uma Sekar, Vice Chancellor of SRIHER, added, “This MoU aligns with our mission to integrate science, education, and technology for better patient care. With Agilisium’s AI expertise, we aim to redefine digital health in India—creating smarter, equitable, and more impactful solutions.”
This transformative alliance sets the stage for India to lead the global charge in AI-powered, data-driven, and patient-centric healthcare.
