Ambuja Neotia Group announced plans to set up five new healthcare facilities over the next four to five years, investing approximately ₹1,600–1,800 crore. The expansion is being spearheaded by the group’s healthcare vertical, Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture, which currently operates four facilities across West Bengal and Assam with a total of around 600 beds.

The group will establish three of the five new hospitals in West Bengal and expand into Chhattisgarh, Bihar, and Assam to strengthen its healthcare presence. It expects to open a new hospital in Raipur by the end of next year.

Launch of State-of-the-Art Paediatric Multispecialty Centre in Kolkata

The group recently inaugurated a state-of-the-art centre for paediatric multispecialty at its New Town Hospital in Kolkata. The expansion added 105 beds, bringing the total capacity of the hospital to 220 beds. The new wing offers comprehensive paediatric care, including cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, and nephrology services.

“This paediatric unit is the first for our group and has been designed with advanced infrastructure to cater to serious sub-specialty requirements,” said Parthiv Neotia, Executive Director. He added, “Over the last two decades, paediatric medicine has evolved significantly. This centre represents the most advanced facility for any paediatric-related needs.”

Focus on Women, Children, and Multispecialty Care

The group recently opened a 125-bed Women and Child Care unit in Guwahati, further expanding its reach in Assam. Ambuja Neotia plans to initially focus on multispecialty and mother-and-child care, building the brand and service quality in these segments before adding additional paediatric centres in other states.

“Our strategy is to strengthen our presence in the eastern region first,” Neotia explained. “Following the paediatric centre in West Bengal, we will evaluate the need for a second such facility in another state based on demand.”

Expanding Capacity and Services

As part of its long-term growth plan, the group aims to add 1,500 beds over the next five years, further establishing itself as a leading healthcare provider in eastern India. As reported by thehindubusinessline.com, with this expansion, Ambuja Neotia Group intends to offer high-quality, multispecialty care that addresses evolving healthcare needs while enhancing regional medical infrastructure.
