Director General Medical Services (Army) and Senior Colonel Commandant Lt Gen Sadhna S Nair inaugurated the Adult Vaccination Centre at the Army Hospital Research & Referral, New Delhi, on August 9, 2025. The Centre will offer comprehensive immunisation services to all eligible adults, including vaccines for influenza, pneumococcus, hepatitis, and other preventable diseases.
State-of-the-Art Diagnostic Facility
During the same event, Lt Gen Nair also inaugurated a cutting-edge Bronchoscopy Suite. Equipped with advanced technology, the suite will enable a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic airway procedures. These facilities are designed to strengthen both preventive healthcare and advanced diagnostic capabilities for patients at the hospital.

As reported by pib.gov.in, the inauguration ceremony saw the presence of Commandant Lt Gen Shankar Narayan, Deputy Commandant Maj Gen Amul Kapoor, and senior officers from the hospital, station, and the Directorate, marking a significant milestone in the hospital’s service expansion.
