Leadership Transition at KAHER

Sandeep Shrivastava assumed charge as Vice-Chancellor of KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER), Belagavi, on February 20.

As reported by The Hindu, on the occasion, Prabhakar Kore, Chancellor of KAHER, formally welcomed Dr. Shrivastava in the presence of university officials.

Strong Academic and Clinical Background

Dr. Shrivastava is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon with a doctorate in Health Professional Education. Over the past three decades, he has built a distinguished career in academic leadership, research administration, and clinical practice.

Global Collaborations and Research Leadership

Previously, he served as Executive Director (Global Affairs) and Chief Scientific Officer at Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research (DMIHER), Wardha. During his tenure, he actively strengthened international collaborations with globally reputed institutions such as Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Weill Cornell Medical College, and University of Sydney.

Vision for Institutional Growth

Now, as Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Shrivastava has taken on the responsibility of further strengthening academic excellence, expanding research initiatives, and advancing institutional development at KAHER, according to an official release.
