The case involved severe calcific blockages in the coronary arteries, particularly in the highly challenging left main bifurcation region, which is known for its complexity and high procedural risk.
He explained the clinical strategy adopted to treat the patient and highlighted the advanced interventional techniques used to achieve a successful outcome.

To manage the severe calcification, the medical team employed cutting-edge interventional technologies. The procedure involved calcium modification and plaque disruption using rotablation and intravascular lithotripsy, both of which are advanced techniques used in complex coronary interventions.
Furthermore, the team used Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT)—an advanced intravascular imaging modality—to guide the procedure. This technology allowed the cardiologists to visualize the coronary arteries with exceptional precision, ensuring accurate stent placement and improved clinical outcomes.
