LifeCell International, an integrated diagnostics and preventive healthcare company, has partnered with Shraddha Diagnostics to expand access to advanced and specialised diagnostic services across Gujarat.
Under the partnership, both organisations will operate the Gujarat business through the Shraddha LifeCell entity. The collaboration combines Shraddha Diagnostics’ regional presence, clinician relationships and routine diagnostic expertise with LifeCell’s scientific capabilities, specialised testing portfolio and technology-enabled laboratory infrastructure.
Portfolio of Around 4,500 Tests
Shraddha Diagnostics currently operates six laboratories and four centres across Ahmedabad and Surat. As per the press release, the partnership will offer a combined portfolio of approximately 4,500 diagnostic tests, covering routine pathology and specialised areas such as genomics, oncology, transplant and IVF diagnostics.
Furthermore, LifeCell and Shraddha Diagnostics aim to expand their diagnostic services across Gujarat, enabling clinicians and patients to access a wider range of tests through an integrated regional platform.
Focus on Quality and Technology
The partnership will focus on strengthening diagnostic quality and accessibility, expanding specialised testing, enhancing technology and digital capabilities, and improving the experience of patients, clinicians and healthcare partners.
Mayur Abhaya, Managing Director, LifeCell International, and Dr Hiren and Dr Dushyant, Founders, Shraddha Diagnostics, said in a joint statement that the partnership will combine Shraddha Diagnostics’ regional expertise and clinical relationships with LifeCell’s scientific and technological capabilities. They added that the combined platform will help expand access to diagnostic services across Gujarat while maintaining a focus on quality, accuracy and patient experience.
Strengthening Integrated Diagnostics
The partnership forms part of LifeCell’s broader strategy to expand its diagnostics capabilities through collaborations with established regional healthcare providers. LifeCell has expanded from a genomics-focused organisation into an integrated diagnostics company offering routine diagnostics, genomics, oncology, transplant and IVF diagnostic services.
Meanwhile, Shraddha Diagnostics will gain access to LifeCell’s specialised diagnostic capabilities while expanding the range of services available to its existing network. Together, the organisations aim to strengthen diagnostic accessibility across Gujarat through a combination of regional expertise, specialised testing and technology-enabled healthcare delivery.
