Manipal Hospitals has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Maharashtra to establish a 350-bed multi-speciality hospital in Nagpur. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and improving access in the region.
₹700-Crore Investment and Job Creation
The proposed hospital will involve an investment of nearly ₹700 crore and is expected to generate about 3,000 new jobs. The MoU, signed in Mumbai, includes the government’s assurance to facilitate all necessary permits, approvals, and fiscal incentives to ensure timely completion. The facility will begin operations by 2029.

As reported by Express Healthcare, the upcoming hospital will house an extensive range of specialised departments. These will include cardiology, neurology, orthopaedics, and oncology services. These offerings aim to meet the diverse medical needs of the region’s population and reduce the need for patients to travel long distances for advanced care.
