Onco-Life Cancer Centre organised an exclusive Doctors’ Scientific Evening, bringing together oncologists, surgeons, radiation specialists, physicians, and healthcare professionals for an evening focused on scientific learning, multidisciplinary collaboration, and professional networking. The event highlighted recent advances in cancer treatment while emphasising the growing importance of coordinated, evidence-based care in improving patient outcomes.

Academic Sessions Focused on Advanced Oncology Care

During the scientific programme, experts discussed several key developments in modern oncology, including: Helical TomoTherapy for complex and challenging cancer cases, Precision oncology and personalised treatment strategies, Advances in immunotherapy and targeted therapy,
Organ-preservation surgical approaches, HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy) and Multidisciplinary treatment planning. As a result, participants gained insights into emerging therapies and practical approaches for managing complex cancer cases.

Panel Discussion Explored the Future of Cancer Care

A dedicated panel discussion on the future of multidisciplinary cancer care enabled specialists from different fields to exchange ideas on delivering comprehensive, patient-centric treatment. The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, allowing clinicians to discuss real-world challenges and evidence-based solutions. Elekta, the title sponsor of the event, delivered a special scientific presentation on Online Adaptive Technology. The presentation demonstrated how adaptive radiation therapy can enhance treatment precision by adjusting therapy plans in real time according to changes in patient anatomy and tumour characteristics.
