The Rajasthan government will soon issue an advertisement to recruit 600 Medical Officers following approval from Health and Medical Education Minister Gajendra Singh Khimsar. The recruitment aims to strengthen healthcare services and ensure adequate medical staff at government health institutions, particularly in rural and remote areas.
Focus on Rural Healthcare
The state is also accelerating the process of filling vacant posts across various cadres, including doctors. As a result, the government expects to improve the availability of doctors and provide faster and better treatment under its “Niramay Rajasthan” vision.
As per the Times of India, the minister said the latest recruitment would help address staffing gaps and strengthen medical services across government institutions.
Over 39,000 Posts Filled
Meanwhile, the government has completed recruitment and appointment processes for 39,288 posts in the medical and health department. These include 1,699 Medical Officer posts, 208 Medical Officer (Dental) posts and 19,240 non-gazetted posts.
In addition, the state has completed appointments in the medical education cadre, including assistant professors, while 18,126 appointments have been made under the National Health Mission.
