Driving India’s Healthcare Transformation

India’s healthcare industry is experiencing rapid growth, fuelled by innovation, digitalization, and collaboration. With hospitals, med-tech, telemedicine, insurance, diagnostics, and medical tourism contributing significantly, the sector is one of the country’s largest in terms of revenue and employment.

Private equity funding, foreign investments, and government initiatives are accelerating this transformation. Today, healthcare providers are embracing technologies such as telehealth, AI-driven diagnostics, wearable devices, and cloud-based health platforms. These advancements are expanding access to care, improving affordability, and boosting efficiency.

Training Beyond Metros: Empowering Surgeons Nationwide

As part of its strong academic focus, Zen Multispeciality Hospital has taken medical training to Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. These efforts are empowering surgeons across the country. Through structured training programs and live surgical demonstrations, the hospital has successfully trained more than 500 surgeons.

According to the press release, the hospital conducted these initiatives at multiple centres. These included Jajpur (Odisha), Hubli Medical College, Bhopal, Nashik, and Aurangabad. These efforts ensure that advanced surgical knowledge also reaches regional hubs. Notably, the hospital created history by linking 94 centres and medical colleges for a live surgical workshop — a first-of-its-kind global platform for real-time learning and collaboration.
