Zen Multi Specialty Hospital, Chembur, in collaboration with IJCP Publications, has achieved a remarkable feat by setting the record for the Maximum Live Viewership of a Simultaneously Broadcast Laparoscopic Surgery for general and laparoscopic surgeons across India. Zen Multi Specialty Hospital achieved this milestone as part of the 15th edition of Laparoscopy Unlimited, which showcased 30 live surgical demonstrations over two days on 2nd and 3rd August 2025. The team broadcast the surgeries to 94 locations nationwide, promoting continuous learning and enhancing surgical expertise through real-time demonstrations of minimally invasive techniques.

The event brought together 520 surgeons at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, while an additional 30–50 surgeons at each remote location, from Srinagar to Visakhapatnam and Kolkata to Mumbai, attended the live broadcasts. The live surgical session ran from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and we ensured full compliance with National Medical Council (NMC) guidelines and obtained the necessary approvals from the Maharashtra Medical Council.
