AIG Hospitals is planning to develop a greenfield multispecialty hospital in Visakhapatnam with an estimated investment of ₹2,000 crore. The project will be developed in two phases and will include a main hospital campus along with an adjoining nursing college.
Hospital Capacity to Reach 1,000 Beds
In the first phase, AIG Hospitals will develop Towers A and B with a combined capacity of 650 beds. Subsequently, Phase 2 will add another 350 beds in Tower C, taking the total capacity of the hospital campus to 1,000 beds. Phase 1 is expected to become operational by October 2028, while the second phase will be developed over the following two to three years.
Comprehensive Multispecialty and Critical Care Services
The Visakhapatnam hospital will offer more than 50 medical and surgical specialties, creating a comprehensive healthcare facility for patients across the region. The campus will feature 150 critical care beds and a 50-bed emergency department. Dedicated infrastructure will support specialised medical care, critical care and emergency services, while additional healthcare and educational facilities will strengthen the overall campus.
Integrated Healthcare and Education Campus
