The findings are based on an analysis comparing search volumes between March 2024–February 2025 and March 2025–February 2026.
Overall, the data indicates a clear shift in consumer behaviour. Increasingly, people are adopting holistic health practices that combine structured fitness routines with professional nutrition guidance.
Sharp Rise in Searches for Nutritionists and Dieticians
Notably, searches for Nutritionists and Dieticians rose by 48% across India, reflecting growing awareness about balanced diets, preventive healthcare, and personalised nutrition planning.
Among major cities, Delhi recorded the highest growth with a 106% increase, highlighting a strong surge in demand for dietary consultations. Meanwhile, Mumbai registered a 62% rise, signalling a steady increase in urban consumers seeking professional nutrition advice.
Steady Demand for Personal Training Services
In addition to dietary guidance, interest in personal training services also continued to grow. Across India, searches for Personal Training Services increased by 18%, indicating sustained demand for guided fitness routines and customised workout programmes.
At the city level, Delhi saw a notable 45% rise, while Mumbai recorded a 5% increase, suggesting that personalised training support remains an important part of urban fitness culture.
Pilates Emerges as a Fast-Growing Fitness Trend
Furthermore, Pilates emerged as one of the fastest-growing fitness categories during the analysed period. Nationally, searches for Pilates increased by 74%, underscoring its rising popularity as a low-impact workout focused on core strength, flexibility, and posture.
As per the press release, city-wise trends showed similar momentum. Delhi recorded a 77% increase, while Mumbai followed closely with a 72% rise, reflecting growing consumer interest in mindful and strength-based exercise routines.
