Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital has expanded its Delhi NCR network by opening a new advanced eye care centre in Shahdara, East Delhi. The facility is the hospital group’s eighth centre in the region and aims to improve access to specialised ophthalmic care for residents of East Delhi and nearby areas.
To mark the launch, the hospital is offering a free comprehensive eye check-up for all patients until July 31.
Comprehensive Eye Care Under One Roof
Strategically located in a key healthcare hub, the new centre offers treatment for cataract, retina, glaucoma, cornea and external eye diseases, refractive errors, paediatric eye conditions, oculoplasty, and general eye care. In addition, patients can access preventive eye screenings, optical services, pharmacy support, counselling, and follow-up care.
Advanced Technology for Better Diagnosis
The 6,400 sq. ft., two-storey facility features advanced diagnostic and treatment technologies, including Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), digital fundus imaging, visual field analysers, cataract and glaucoma assessment systems, and anterior segment imaging. It also houses a modular operation theatre with an integrated viewing gallery to support precise surgeries while maintaining strict infection control standards.
As per the press release, Dr. J. S. Titiyal, Medical Director – New Delhi, continues to play a key role in strengthening the hospital’s clinical expertise through structured training, clinical guidance, and standardised treatment protocols.

Dr. Ashar Agarwal, Chief Business Officer, said the Shahdara centre reflects the group’s commitment to expanding access to specialised eye care across Delhi NCR. He added that the hospital remains focused on combining advanced technology, specialist-led treatment, and patient convenience to meet the region’s growing demand for integrated eye care services.
Meanwhile, Dr. Jeewan Singh Titiyal, Medical Director – New Delhi, emphasised that early diagnosis and timely treatment are crucial for preserving vision. He said the new centre has been designed to provide comprehensive screening, advanced diagnostics, specialist consultations, and evidence-based treatment to support patients at every stage of their eye care journey.
