Andhra Pradesh has recorded its first successful pancreas organ donation, marking a significant milestone in the state’s organ transplantation programme under AP Jeevan Daan.
Marishetty Chinna Rao (26), a resident of Munagapaka village in Anakapalli district, sustained severe injuries in a road accident and was admitted to KIMS ICON Hospital. Despite the medical team’s efforts, doctors declared him brain dead.
Family’s Decision Gives New Lease of Life
