Vertigo and balance disorders affect nearly six crore people in India. Yet, many patients continue to face delayed or incorrect diagnoses and are often treated with symptom-suppressing medications instead of therapies that address the underlying cause. As a result, a significant care gap persists in the effective management of vertigo and dizziness.
FutureCure Health Raises Rs 104 Crore to Bridge the Care Gap
Addressing this unmet need, FutureCure Health Private Limited, a healthcare technology company focused on super-speciality care, has successfully raised Rs 104 crore in a new funding round. The investment aims to expand access to accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment for vertigo across India and globally.
Strong Investor Confidence Fuels Expansion
As per the press release, the funding round was led by Carnelian Asset Management LLP, with participation from other marquee investors. This milestone follows an earlier USD 4 million raise in 2022, backed by Kotak Alternate Asset Management, RVCF Ventures, and Unicorn India Ventures. Together, these investments underscore strong investor confidence in FutureCure’s technology-led healthcare model.
NeuroEquilibrium: Shifting Focus from Symptom Control to Root-Cause Care
FutureCure Health operates NeuroEquilibrium, its wholly owned subsidiary and the world’s largest chain of vertigo and dizziness diagnostic and rehabilitation clinics. Unlike conventional approaches, NeuroEquilibrium prioritises identifying the root cause of vertigo—whether originating in the inner ear, the brain, or balance pathways. Consequently, patients receive targeted, disease-specific treatment rather than temporary symptom relief.
Scaling Specialised Vertigo Care Through Partnerships
By working closely with hospitals, ENT clinics, and neurology centres, NeuroEquilibrium has built a wide-reaching care network. It currently operates over 300 clinics in India and across 16 other countries. To date, the platform has enabled accurate diagnosis and treatment for more than 150,000 patients, leading to significantly improved long-term outcomes.
Founder Perspective: Building Scalable, Made-in-India Healthcare Technology
Commenting on the funding, Rajneesh Bhandari, Founder of FutureCure Health, said the investment reinforces the belief that globally relevant healthcare technologies can be built in India. As the company scales NeuroEquilibrium across hospitals in India and worldwide, it also plans to expand into chronic lifestyle conditions such as migraine and diabetes. He emphasised that technology-driven, precise diagnostics can help bridge the shortage of specialist doctors, democratise super-speciality care, and act as a force multiplier for better patient outcomes.
Clinical Impact and Global Vision
Dr. Anita Bhandari, Founder of FutureCure Health, highlighted that vertigo and dizziness are frequently misdiagnosed, leaving patients untreated for years. She noted that the company’s experience with over 150,000 patients clearly demonstrates how accurate diagnosis can dramatically change outcomes. With this funding, NeuroEquilibrium aims to take specialised vertigo care to a global scale.
