AIIMS Bhopal Partners with MedLern to Strengthen Resuscitation Training

Structured Resuscitation Training for Healthcare Professionals

The Resident Doctors’ Association (RDA), AIIMS Bhopal, has partnered with MedLern to strengthen resuscitation skills and emergency preparedness among healthcare professionals through HeartCode Complete, an American Heart Association (AHA) programme.

The initiative provides healthcare professionals with structured learning designed to reinforce essential resuscitation knowledge and practical skills.

Combining Digital Learning with Hands-On Practice

Through MedLern’s platform, healthcare professionals will receive and complete assigned HeartCode Complete training. The programme combines digital learning with hands-on skills practice, allowing participants to reinforce knowledge while developing practical competency.

The skills component is supported by RQI Go, which facilitates technology-enabled practice and competency development.

Why This Matters for Doctors

For clinicians, particularly those working in emergency and acute-care settings, resuscitation readiness depends on the ability to recognise deterioration, respond rapidly and perform critical interventions effectively.

As per the announcement, the programme emphasises continuous learning and skills reinforcement rather than relying solely on periodic training. This approach can help healthcare professionals maintain readiness for high-pressure emergency situations.

Dr. Debayan Mandal, President, RDA AIIMS Bhopal, said continuous learning and practical skill development are important for maintaining readiness during emergencies.

Focus on Maintaining Clinical Competency

The collaboration reflects a growing focus on technology-enabled clinical education, combining accessible digital training with practical skills development.

For doctors, the key takeaway is the emphasis on ongoing resuscitation education and competency maintenance, particularly in clinical environments where timely and effective intervention can directly influence patient outcomes.
