HOSMAC and Ashoka Group Expand Integrated Healthcare with New Women & Children Hospital

HOSMAC, one of India’s leading healthcare planning, design, and project management consultancies, has completed the Ashoka Women & Children Hospital at Ashoka Health City in Nashik. The 115-bed hospital was inaugurated on 12 July alongside Ashoka Health City by Lok Sabha Speaker and Member of Parliament Shri Om Birla, marking a significant step in expanding specialised healthcare infrastructure in the region.

Purpose-Built for Maternal and Child Care

Spread across 80,000 sq. ft., the hospital was designed by HOSMAC as a turnkey architectural and interior project. It focuses on maternal, neonatal, and paediatric care while prioritising healing environments and family-centred care. The new facility complements Ashoka Medicover Hospital and Ashoka CCA Hospital, both previously planned and designed by HOSMAC, creating an integrated healthcare ecosystem under one campus.

As per the press release, HOSMAC designed the hospital to enhance patient comfort while meeting the functional needs of healthcare professionals. “Our goal was to create a space that supports clinical excellence while fostering comfort, confidence, and healing,” said Dr. Vivek Desai, Managing Director and Founder, HOSMAC.

Thoughtfully Designed Healing Spaces

Inspired by nature, each floor follows a unique theme—Den, Earth, Mountains, Space, and Rainbow. Child-friendly interiors, vibrant colours, intuitive wayfinding, and playful graphics create a welcoming environment that helps reduce anxiety for young patients and their families.

Strengthening a Long-Term Partnership

The project further strengthens HOSMAC’s long-standing partnership with the Ashoka Group. Following the successful development of Ashoka Medicover Hospital and Ashoka CCA Hospital, the new Women & Children Hospital reinforces the group’s vision of delivering comprehensive, specialised healthcare through an integrated health city.
