Livlong 365, a leading OPD insurance and health-tech platform, has introduced India’s first nationwide Labs Marketplace—a digital platform that allows users to discover, compare, and book diagnostic tests from multiple certified laboratories through a single interface. By consolidating services on one platform, the company aims to simplify access to diagnostics and enhance convenience for consumers across the country.

India’s Diagnostics Market Continues to Expand

The launch comes at a time when India’s diagnostics sector is witnessing strong and sustained growth. The industry, valued at approximately USD 10 billion (₹865 billion) in FY24, has grown at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9–10 percent since FY12. Furthermore, projections indicate that the market will expand at nearly 11 percent CAGR through FY28, reaching an estimated ₹1,325 billion.

Against this backdrop, Livlong aims to capture 2–4 percent of the diagnostics market by FY28, positioning itself as a technology-driven player within the rapidly evolving healthcare ecosystem.

Addressing Fragmentation in Diagnostic Services

Traditionally, India’s diagnostic services have remained highly fragmented. As a result, consumers often navigate multiple laboratories, encounter inconsistent pricing, and rely on disconnected booking systems.

To address these challenges, Livlong’s Labs Marketplace centralizes diagnostic services on a single digital platform. Consequently, users can search for tests based on location, pricing, and preferred laboratory partners, enabling more informed and convenient healthcare decisions.

Focus on Accessibility and Transparency

Commenting on the launch, Gaurav Dubey, Founder and CEO of Livlong 365, emphasised the need for simpler diagnostic access.

“Diagnostics is an essential part of everyday healthcare, and it should never feel complicated or out of reach. As we expand across cities and emerging markets, our focus remains on ensuring quality, transparency, and access for every user.”

Extensive Reach and Future Expansion Plans

In its initial phase, the Labs Marketplace covers more than 19,000 pin codes across over 800 cities and includes 35+ certified laboratory partners. Moreover, the company plans to expand its presence to 2,000–2,500 locations in the near term, strengthening coverage across both metropolitan areas and emerging towns.

Through the platform, users can book multiple diagnostic tests from a single laboratory in one transaction. Additionally, they can choose between home sample collection and in-centre testing, depending on availability.

Rising Demand for Preventive Diagnostics

As per the press release, the launch also reflects the growing importance of preventive healthcare in India. According to the Ministry of Labour and Employment, the country’s workforce reached approximately 643 million in FY24–25. At the same time, the implementation of new Labour Codes, which mandate **annual health check-ups for specified employee categories—particularly those above 40 years of age—**is expected to boost demand for preventive diagnostics.

Consequently, industry analysts estimate that the corporate preventive diagnostics segment could grow at 25–30 percent CAGR in the coming years.

Strengthening Livlong’s Integrated Payvider Model

With this launch, Livlong 365 continues to strengthen its integrated OPD-led healthcare ecosystem. Diagnostics now form a core component of the company’s Payvider model, which combines insurance, doctor consultations, pharmacy services, and preventive diagnostics on a single technology-enabled platform.
