Nanavati Max Super Speciality Hospital will host Max Cancer Congress 2026 on October 3–4, bringing together more than 500 oncology experts, clinicians, researchers and healthcare professionals to discuss emerging evidence and innovations in cancer care.

The conference comes amid a rising cancer burden in India. Based on recent ICMR-NCDIR estimates, India recorded 15,69,793 new cancer cases in 2025, compared with 14,26,447 in 2021. Maharashtra reported an estimated 1,30,465 new cases in 2025.

As per the press release, the programme will cover breast, gastrointestinal, thoracic, gynaecological, head and neck, radiation, haematology, molecular and genetics, and urological oncology.

Advances in Precision Oncology

Sessions will focus on precision medicine, molecular diagnostics, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, robotic and minimally invasive surgery, advanced radiation techniques, image-guided interventions and organ-preservation strategies.

Experts will also discuss emerging technologies such as liquid biopsy, multi-cancer early detection, AI-assisted cancer care and molecular tumour boards, along with advances in CAR-T therapy, bispecific antibodies and stem cell transplantation.

Specialised Masterclass

An Interventional Radiology masterclass on Irreversible Electroporation (IRE) will cover patient selection, treatment techniques, clinical evidence and real-world cases.

The congress will also highlight advances in thoracic, breast, head and neck and haematological cancers, with emphasis on personalised treatment, minimally invasive approaches, organ preservation and cellular therapies.

Strengthening Collaborative Cancer Care
