67 PTE Surgeries in a Year with Zero Mortality

As per Narayana Health/ LinkedIn, over the past year, the CTEPH Multidisciplinary Team at Narayana Health City has successfully performed 67 Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy (PTE) surgeries with a remarkable 0 per cent mortality rate. As a result, the centre now surpasses 1,000 PTE surgeries performed to date, delivering clinical outcomes comparable to those of leading global centres.

Anesthesiologists, Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) doctors, ITU nursing staff, perfusionists, operation theatre teams, and ward nursing staff worked in close coordination to maintain the highest standards of patient safety and care throughout every stage of treatment.
