Wockhardt Hospital Opens Superspecialty OPD at Kemps Corner

Wockhardt Hospital, Mumbai Central, has launched its first superspecialty outpatient department (OPD) at Kemps Corner to make specialist healthcare more accessible to patients in South Mumbai. The new centre will serve as an extended arm of the hospital.

Multiple Specialties Under One Roof

The 2,800-square-foot clinic will provide consultations in cardiology, neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, gastroenterology, nephrology, urology and orthopaedics, among other specialties. It will also offer pathology, ECG, X-ray, clinical assessments and referrals for further treatment.

As per the Hindustan Times, the centre will operate from 10 am to 8 pm, allowing office-goers to access specialist consultations and second opinions conveniently. In addition, an integrated system will maintain patients’ clinical records and case histories to support coordinated care.

Focus on Coordinated Care

The hospital aims to streamline the patient journey from consultation and diagnosis to treatment. Moreover, it plans to replicate the model at other locations if the Kemps Corner centre proves successful.
