Age Care Labs Bags ₹85 Crore in Series B1, Joins Hands with Shrem Group for Senior Living Platform

Age Care Labs, India’s integrated elder care platform operating through its brands Emoha and Epoch Elder Care, has raised ₹85 crore (USD 9 million) in its Series B1 funding round. The round attracted investments from Shrem Group, Rainmatter (Zerodha), Pegasus Finvest and several prominent family offices.

The Series B1 round forms part of the company’s larger Series B fundraise of ₹250 crore (USD 30 million), which is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2027.

Funds to drive expansion

Age Care Labs will use the fresh capital to strengthen its integrated elder care platform, expand its service portfolio, invest in technology, enhance healthcare capabilities and accelerate growth across India.

In addition to investing in the company, Shrem Group has partnered with Emoha to launch Shremoha, a premium senior independent living platform.

Shremoha to focus on premium senior living

Shremoha brings together Shrem Group’s expertise in real estate, hospitality, infrastructure and long-term capital with Emoha’s operational experience and geriatric care capabilities. Together, the partners plan to develop integrated senior living communities that combine independent living, wellness, hospitality and professional healthcare services.

As per the company’s press release, India’s ageing population, increasing life expectancy and changing family structures are driving demand for professionally managed senior living communities. Modern seniors increasingly seek environments that offer independence, safety, community engagement and easy access to healthcare.

Accordingly, Shremoha will develop premium senior independent living communities featuring thoughtfully designed residences, hospitality-led services, preventive healthcare, wellness programmes, emergency response systems, community engagement and coordinated care.
