Apollo AyurVAID, India’s premier NABH-accredited network of precision Ayurveda hospitals, has expanded its footprint into the Ayurveda product segment. This strategic move marks a significant milestone for the organisation, taking its clinical expertise beyond hospital settings and into the fast-growing ₹60,000 crore Indian Ayurveda market, which is expanding at over 16% annually.
Launching a Clinically Validated Product Line
Apollo AyurVAID’s new portfolio includes classical formulations, over-the-counter (OTC) products, and medical foods, all developed to meet the increasing demand for safe, standardised, and clinically validated Ayurveda solutions. In a first for the industry, each product is certified safe by NABL-accredited laboratories, ensuring absence of heavy metals, aflatoxins, and microbial contaminants.
Every product features a QR code on the packaging allowing consumers to access individual lab test reports, reinforcing transparency and consumer trust.
Leadership Vision and Strategic Intent
Dr. Preetha Reddy, Executive Vice Chairperson, Apollo Hospitals and Chairperson, Apollo AyurVAID, stated:
“Apollo AyurVAID’s foray into tested-safe Ayurveda products is a pivotal step in redefining traditional medicine with a commitment to safety, transparency, and efficacy. By integrating innovation with Ayurvedic wisdom, we aim to shape the future of integrative medicine in India and globally.”
Mr. Rajiv Vasudevan, Founder, MD & CEO, Apollo AyurVAID, added:
