On 28 February, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, Vice Chairperson – CSR at Apollo Hospitals, inaugurated the 1000th Apollo Pharmacy store in Telangana. With this launch, Apollo marked a major milestone in its ongoing effort to expand access to quality healthcare across the state.

With the addition of its 1000th outlet, Apollo Pharmacy now operates across all 33 districts of Telangana. As a result, India’s largest pharmacy network has significantly strengthened its footprint in both urban and semi-urban regions.
Currently, the network provides access to over 50,000 genuine medicines and wellness essentials round the clock. Moreover, it ensures quick delivery services across all districts, thereby improving last-mile access to essential healthcare products.

In addition to expanding healthcare access, Apollo Pharmacy has created substantial employment opportunities. As per the press release, the network now employs more than 10,000 people across its retail, digital, and supply chain ecosystem in Telangana.
Furthermore, Apollo services over 1.65 lakh medicine orders daily. Looking ahead, the company plans to add more than 200 new pharmacy stores in the state over the next three years, thereby accelerating both healthcare access and job creation.
