Fortis Escorts Faridabad Launches Region’s First Dedicated Fever Clinic

With seasonal viral and vector-borne infections increasing across Delhi-NCR, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad has launched the region’s first dedicated Fever Clinic to support early diagnosis and timely treatment.

Focused Fever Care

The clinic will operate Monday to Saturday, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, under the supervision of the hospital’s Internal Medicine team. It will assess patients with a range of acute and infectious conditions, including dengue, malaria, chikungunya, typhoid, influenza/H1N1, seasonal viral infections, prolonged or unexplained fever, bacterial infections and fever in immunocompromised patients.

As per the press release, the clinic will offer consultations, laboratory investigations such as CBC and rapid diagnostic tests, medication support, day-care and observation, emergency escalation, hospital admission referrals and structured follow-up under one roof.

Emphasis on Early Assessment

Speaking about the launch, Dr Rajesh Kumar Budhiraja, Senior Director, Internal Medicine, Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad, said that timely assessment is particularly important during the monsoon and seasonal transition. He added that early identification of warning signs can help patients receive appropriate care when hospital management is required.

Meanwhile, Dr BN Singh, Director, Internal Medicine, said the clinic aims to make fever assessment and management more accessible while enabling appropriate investigations and medical guidance at the same point of care.

Dr Anurag Aggarwal, Senior Consultant, Internal Medicine, highlighted the importance of identifying patients who require closer observation or hospital care.
