Max Healthcare Foundation has launched the fourth edition of its Max Medical Scholarship Programme, expanding its annual intake to up to 250 new students, compared with 100 in previous years.
Supporting Aspiring Doctors
The programme will fully fund the medical education of eligible students from economically weaker sections who have qualified for NEET and secured admission to MBBS programmes at government medical colleges across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Nagpur, Lucknow, Mohali, Dehradun, Bathinda and Bhubaneswar for the 2026–27 academic year.
As per the press release, the programme has supported 245 students over the past three years and will continue funding students selected in previous editions as they progress through their second, third and fourth years.
Comprehensive Financial Support
The scholarship will cover the full five-year MBBS course and include tuition fees, a laptop, textbooks, medical tools, a monthly allowance and mentorship opportunities.
Mrs. Taruna Soi, Chairperson, Max Healthcare Foundation, said the expansion will enable more deserving students to pursue medical education without the burden of financial constraints.
Applications Open Until October 4
Registrations opened on September 16, 2026, and students can apply until October 4, 2026 through the Foundation’s official website. The selection process will include application review, shortlisting, interviews and document verification, along with an assessment of socio-economic criteria and NEET rank.
The programme forms part of Max Healthcare Foundation’s CSR efforts to support students and nurture the next generation of medical professionals.
