MedGenome has announced a majority investment in Gujarat-based pathology laboratory chain, Green Cross Genetics Lab, marking a strategic step to expand its diagnostic footprint in western India.
Green Cross, founded by Vinod Patel, has been serving patients for over three decades. It currently operates 17 laboratories and 35 collection centres across Gujarat, all managed under the guidance of senior pathology experts committed to precision and reliability. The promoters will continue to lead the business as it enters its next phase of growth.
Combining Strengths in Genomics and Diagnostics
MedGenome operates South Asia’s largest CAP-accredited end-to-end multiomics laboratory and leverages advanced AI and machine learning tools to deliver data-driven genetic insights. These insights help clinicians diagnose and manage complex diseases with greater accuracy.
