NewEra Hospitals Marks Women’s Day with Launch of Special Women’s Health Check-up Package

NewEra Hospitals, Vashi, celebrated International Women’s Day with a special event dedicated to recognising and appreciating the achievements and contributions of women from diverse fields. The programme brought together professionals from healthcare, law enforcement, education, media, and social work to honour their inspiring journeys and commitment to society.

Distinguished Guests Grace the Occasion

The event was graced by Chief Guest Jayashri Akolkar, Advocate at the Bombay High Court and the first woman lawyer from Marathwada.

Inspiring Messages on Empowerment and Leadership

During the programme, speakers delivered inspiring addresses that emphasized women’s empowerment, leadership, and the importance of ensuring equal opportunities across all sectors. Furthermore, the celebration included a cake-cutting ceremony, vibrant dance and singing performances, and a felicitation ceremony to honour the chief guest and guests of honour for their achievements and contributions to society.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Purvi Kutty highlighted the significant role women play in healthcare.

Promoting Preventive Care Through Women’s Health Initiative

As per the press release, the event also highlighted the hospital’s commitment to supporting women’s health and well-being. As part of this initiative, NewEra Hospitals is offering a comprehensive Women’s Health Check-up Package.

The package includes key diagnostic tests such as ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis, thyroid panel (T3, T4, TSH), Vitamin B12 test, urine routine examination, random blood sugar (RBS), haemoglobin testing, and Pap smear screening. In addition, the package provides consultations with a general physician and a gynaecologist.

Through this initiative, the hospital aims to encourage women to prioritise their health by undergoing timely screening and seeking appropriate medical care.
