AINU Banjara Hills Revamps Inpatient Block to Enhance Patient Care and Comfort

The Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU), Banjara Hills, has revamped its Inpatient (IP) Block to significantly improve patient comfort, convenience, and overall hospital experience. The upgraded facility reflects AINU’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare in a patient-friendly environment.

The newly upgraded IP Block was inaugurated by V. C. Sajjanar, IPS, Commissioner of Police. The revamp aims to strengthen the hospital’s infrastructure while enhancing clinical services for patients requiring specialized urological and nephrological care.

Advanced Facilities to Strengthen Patient Care

The hospital has introduced several advanced and dedicated services as part of the upgrade to improve patient care and clinical outcomes. Notably, the facility now houses a specialized Uro-Oncology Chemotherapy Unit designed to provide comprehensive treatment and support for patients undergoing chemotherapy for urological cancers.

In addition, the centre features a dedicated Urodynamic Study (UDS) unit along with an advanced Video UDS facility, enabling accurate diagnosis and evaluation of complex bladder and urinary disorders.

Furthermore, AINU has established an exclusive 8-bed Urology Daycare Unit to support same-day procedures and short-stay treatments. This facility ensures greater convenience for patients while allowing them to recover comfortably with minimal hospital stay.

Enhanced Kidney Care and Interventional Nephrology Services

The hospital has also strengthened its acute kidney care services to manage critical kidney conditions with timely intervention. In parallel, its Interventional Nephrology services now offer minimally invasive procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of kidney-related disorders.
