SumeetSSG on Friday announced a partnership with Apollo Hospitals Group’s URLife and Apollo MedSkills to recruit and train doctors and emergency medical staff for the Maharashtra Emergency Medical Services (MEMS 108) program. The collaboration aims to strengthen emergency response capabilities across the state, ensuring faster and more efficient delivery of life-saving care.
Massive Recruitment and Training Drive Planned
Under this initiative, URLife will recruit over 2,300 qualified doctors, while Apollo MedSkills will provide specialized training to more than 4,500 emergency personnel. These trained professionals will be deployed by SumeetSSG under the MEMS 108 project in the coming months.
As reported by The Week, the large-scale training and mobilization effort seeks to enhance the quality, speed, and efficiency of emergency medical responses, guaranteeing that citizens in both urban and rural areas receive timely, free-of-cost medical assistance during critical emergencies.

Speaking about the collaboration, SumeetSSG CEO Sudhanshu Karandikar stated, “Apollo MedSkills will spearhead a comprehensive training framework to ensure that all emergency personnel are proficient in life-saving interventions, advanced trauma management, and emergency response best practices.”
He emphasized that the partnership aims to create a highly skilled and responsive emergency care network. This network will handle a wide range of medical crises with precision and speed.
