Apollo Hospitals has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Roche Diagnostics India to integrate artificial intelligence into clinical decision-making. The partnership was formalized at THIT 2026 — the annual Transforming Healthcare with IT event organized by Apollo Hospitals — in the presence of Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Group, and Mr. Rishubh Gupta, Managing Director, Roche Diagnostics India & Neighbouring Markets.
Navify Algorithm Suite at the Core of the Collaboration
At the heart of this alliance lies Roche’s Navify Algorithm Suite, a sophisticated cloud-based clinical decision support platform. The system integrates seamlessly with Apollo’s clinical infrastructure and delivers tailored patient insights.
Moreover, it enables earlier detection of complex diseases and enhances workflow efficiency by connecting Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
Real-World AI Validation Across Clinical Settings
By combining Apollo’s extensive clinical expertise with Roche’s advanced digital tools, the collaboration prioritizes real-world AI validation. Apollo’s research centres will evaluate and refine these AI-driven solutions to ensure consistent, reliable performance across diverse healthcare settings.
Consequently, the initiative aims to bridge the gap between technological innovation and practical clinical application.
Leadership Emphasizes Digital Transformation
Dr. Sangita Reddy underscored Apollo’s commitment to digital transformation. She stated that the organization aims to accelerate early diagnosis, streamline workflows, and ultimately enhance patients’ quality of life.
Similarly, Mr. Rishubh Gupta emphasized the importance of transforming healthcare data into actionable intelligence. He noted that scalable, data-driven insights will enable more precise and timely clinical decisions.
Strengthening a Patient-First Healthcare Ecosystem
As reported by Apollo Hospitals Press release, this strategic alliance reinforces Apollo’s focus on evidence-based innovation. Through its vast network of over 74 hospitals, 6,600+ pharmacies, 264 clinics, 2,182 diagnostic centres, and more than 800 telemedicine centres, Apollo plans to extend the benefits of AI-enabled care to millions of patients.
Ultimately, patients will experience faster and more accurate diagnoses, while clinicians will gain access to smarter, more efficient tools. Together, these advancements will help build a more integrated, patient-first healthcare ecosystem.
