Kauvery Hospitals Launch Integrated Robotic Surgery Programme Across Chennai

Kauvery Hospitals has launched Kauvery 3X Chennai, an integrated robotic surgery programme connecting its three Chennai hospitals through a unified network of surgical expertise, technology and clinical protocols.

The programme aims to provide patients with consistent, multidisciplinary robotic surgical care closer to home, regardless of which Kauvery hospital they visit.

Multispecialty Robotic Care

The programme covers gastrointestinal surgery, surgical oncology, urology, gynaecology and kidney transplantation. Robotic procedures are available for conditions including gastrointestinal and colorectal cancers, urological cancers, prostate and kidney disorders, fibroids, endometriosis, ovarian conditions and other complex surgical diseases.

As per the press release, the programme also offers advanced colorectal and upper gastrointestinal procedures, hernia and gallbladder surgeries, hysterectomies and reconstructive urological procedures.

Robotic Kidney Transplantation

A key strength of the programme is robotic kidney transplantation, one of the most technically demanding minimally invasive procedures. The approach requires specialised infrastructure, surgical expertise and close coordination among transplant teams.

By combining experienced surgical teams with standardised protocols, Kauvery 3X Chennai aims to improve access to advanced minimally invasive surgery. Robotic procedures can offer greater precision, smaller incisions, reduced blood loss and pain, shorter hospital stays and faster recovery in appropriately selected patients.

Through the integrated programme, Kauvery Hospitals aims to expand access to advanced robotic surgery across Chennai while maintaining coordinated, patient-centred care.
